ECHO is a short dance movie drenched with romanticism and desire.

Inspired by the myth of Echo, the mountain nymph cursed by the goddess Hera, it explores the meaning of relationships.

In my reinterpretation of the story, Echo is doomed to repeat only the last word addressed to her, preventing her from creating a new relationship. She knows that in this way she will never be loved by Narcissus. A friend of hers comes to help and places a flower in her mouth, a symbol of her pure soul, in an attempt to hide her curse.

The conclusion is inspired by the Latin author Poliziano and his use of the compositional technique with acoustic echo:

Ami tu dua o pur un solo? - Un solo.
Et io te sola e non altri amo - Altri amo
.

Translated:
Do you love many or only one? - Only one.
And you only, not the other, I love - The other I love.
